TENT ONLY CAMPING: FLIER #2

Sheeder Mill Farm offers a unique camping experience for all levels of experience and all ages!  Riders will enjoy the beauty of Chester County countryside while trail riding and camping along beautiful French Creek. All rides will be catered to the ability and experience of your group.  Our personable staff will assist you with your skills and help make your ride an occasion to remember!

Upon arrival, take your camping gear to your camping location.  We can provide a charcoal grill for cooking the food you brought, you can order delivery from a local deli, and we can suggest several restaurants in the area that have terrific food and country atmosphere. 

Reservations are required 2 weeks in advance. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit when the reservation is made.  Once we receive your deposit we will consider this a firm reservation.  Reservations are accepted on a first-come basis.  Reservation deposits are non-refundable but can be used for a variety of other types of rides as long as we are notified of cancellation at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled ride.  Deposits, therefore, are not forfeited, just applied to a later ride.  The remaining balance or total cost of your ride, is due in CASH only, the day of the ride. 

If you are organizing a group, here are some helpful suggestions:

• Give your friends and acquaintances a strict deadline by which all money must be paid to you.
• Explain that horses will not be available without payment up front.  Therefore, you are financially protected.

The organizer is financially responsible for the amount of horses that are reserved.  This rule is strictly enforced in order to keep down the cost of future rides.  It costs us money if a rider reserves a horse and then does not show.  This responsibility and expense is passed onto the individual that made the reservation.  Extra riders will be charged a Walk on Fee, unless we have been notified.

The cost of camping is a flat fee of $10/ night for 2-4 people, all other groups will be @ $50 per night..  There is no piped water and no modern toilet facilities at the tenting areas.  However, there are bathroom facilities up at the barn and there is a creek running through the tenting area.  Please keep our countryside beautiful and clean by removing everything you brought with!  There is a $25.00 security deposit needed to assure all trash is picked up and the property is left in the same condition as found.  You then need to add the cost of the amount of riding time you wish to ride.

GROUP RATES ONLY APPLY TO THOSE PAYING GRATUITY OR TIP PRIOR TO RIDING.

The cost of the ride does not include food or beverage OR HOUSING.

If you need to rent tents and equipment from us the fees are:  $25 for a 5-person tent; $15 for a 3-person tent.  A $50 security deposit is required to rent this equipment and is refunded when all equipment is returned in the same condition as was provided
