Horse Purchase Format

• Veterinary pre-purchase exams are at the sole discretion and expense of prospective purchasers.
• However, if the purchaser should or should not have a pre-purchase exam performed, Sheeder Mill Farm or its owners will not be responsible for any health or soundness issues that may arise post-sale.
• Prospective purchasers are responsible for all costs associated with having a current coggins.
• Several of the horses for sale at any given time may have multiple parties interested in purchasing them.
• Sheeder Mill Farm will reserve the horse of your choice and hold it on Sheeder Mill Farm, for a pre-purchase exam with a 20% deposit.  
• Final payment on the horse is due upon completion of the vet exam or results of pending vet work.
• Exams must be scheduled within 3 days of leaving a deposit for a horse.  If this is not possible,  please keep us informed of  the arrangements.  Scheduling is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. 
• If the horse is declared unsound for its intended use by the vet, the purchaser is entitled to a full refund of the deposit and board fee.
•  If, however, the horse is declared to be sound for the intended use and the purchaser opts to not complete the transaction, the deposit will be forfeited.
• A fee of $15.00/ day will be charged starting on the day the deposit was made until the horse leaves Sheeder Mill Farm.
• Sheeder Mill Farm and staff  reserve the right to continue to use the horse until Sheeder Mill Farm or its owner owns 0% of the horse.
• The Board fee will be paid in CASH or with a Certified Check .

•    If, however, the horse is declared to be sound for the intended use and the purchaser opts to not complete the transaction, the deposit will be forfeited.
• No horse will leave Sheeder Mill Farm until its sale is complete and final.
• Final payment must be made in CASH or Certified Check
•   All board must be paid up to date
•   If deposit was paid by check, that check must have cleared our bank which usually takes 5 banking days
• Whether you have chosen to have your horse "vetted out" or not, once possession has been transferred from Sheeder Mill Farm to the buyer, the sale will be considered final and no refunds will be made.
• We sell sound, honest quality horses
•  Our sales quote  “ We sell what we use, and we use what we sell!”
